What is a VESA Wall Mount?
A VESA Wall Mount is a steel bracket, most commonly used for attaching TVs and other monitors or displays a wall. VESA is a universal standard used by most manufacturers. VESA sizes correspond with the distance between the mounting holes located on the back of a monitor. In a VESA 75 pattern, for instance, the distance between the mounting holes is 75 millimetres.

How to determine which one you need?
There are basically two things you should take into account when shopping for these brackets:
- Find out the VESA pattern of your device: by quite simply measuring the distance between the mounting holes on the back of your TV or display.
- Determine what type of mount you need: there are basically four types of mounts:
- Fixed: for mounting against a wall
- Tiltable: for being able to tilt your device
- Swivel: for tilting the device in different positions
